What's the most productive way to catch Lobster? I live in San Diego and Lobster season just started a week ago. Hoop nets or night free diving? Any spots you recommend. Thanks.

Claws? On a lobster in Ca? Whoa. Ca. has "rock lobster" No claws. Crab net/ trap. Many kind available. Hoops, boxes. Free diving might be fun. Haven't tried it. The North end of S.D. harbor. or travel North to Aliso off the fishing Pier.

I would start fishing them right away and be very continues with them. The more you fish the faster you will be. This may seem a little strange, but when I was level 72 and fished lobbies it was slow at first then I started catching them really quick. Also try using a French or German world to fish since there is no so many people. And less people will give you a better chance of catching them. You may add me for any further questions! Gm Punk1

The best way is dropping a metal basket to the bottom of the ocean floor since it is a bottom feeder with bait. I can't recommend any place in California. Their seafood is really small. I only know places in Key West Florida, even though I live in Los Angeles.

evening time is the best time as thats when they come out to feed, the best way is to use a plastic, narrow pipe with a loop at one end, hold loop over a claw and close loop, pull lobster towards you an put in your catch bag, simple.
