Throughout the bible it told of the miracles that Jesus performed. But were they really miracles? The bible mentions witchcraft in several places. Why? Was it really miracles that Jesus was performing or was it magic aka Witchcraft? Was Jesus a Witch? A Wizard? A practitioner of the Magickal Arts? Did they sugar coat what he did with the term miracles? So not to scare the people?

That sounds like a completely logical asumption, and I have to agree with you there. They tell us witchcraft is a sin, and say not to practice it, but where the rights that moses did where they not witchcraft, and again the things that Jesus and the apostiles did was that not witchcraft?

So the true question is why since they did it can we not be free to do so whithout being "Damned to Hell" by the "Christians"?

Wiccan.

Jesus acted in the name of his Father Jehovah. The Bible does make a point for people to stay away from practises that is the Devil's playground. Things like magic, the occult, mysticism, astrology, and the like. No Jesus was not a witch, wizard, or practitioner of magical arts. He is the son of the one true God of the Bible who's name appears at Palms 83 18 in any bible. Jesus miracles were for the purpose to spread the news of the coming Kingdom of God to be established soon on this earth. So in the beginning things like miracles that not only Jesus used but the apostles also used them so people would talk to others about the amazing things they saw or experienced.
Even to this day the miracles that were performed thousands
of years ago are still in the # 1 selling book of all time the HOLY BIBLE.

The answer to your question is in your dictionary. A miracle is a spontaneous event. Magic is something created for a special effect. So miracles and magic are not the same thing.
When you speak of 'they' in relation to sugar coating etc., who, specifically, are you talking about?
The Bible was not created whole but made up of bits and pieces - many of which you have never read because they are among the Apocrypha and not generally published.

One never hears of a counterfeit $3 bill. Why? Because their is no real $3 bill. For their to be a counterfeit, there must be a real.

Jesus was is the genuine miracle worker. Magic is the fake. Has a magic practitioner ever been raised from the dead? Not that anyone has ever reported. Jesus had this seal on Him. He said, "I lay my life down and I take it up again." He was seen alive for 40 days following his resurrection. At one time, he was seen by more than 500 people.

sheesh...

Someone has been reading too much Happy Potter...

"Magic" is the creation of an illusion, an act of trickery. A miracle is when the blind receive sight, when the lame are walking, when a few loaves of bread can feed thousands of people. Walking on water? Possibly a trick. Stopping a storm. kinda hard to pull that one off. And you know, the whole resurrection thing, that is certainly in a class of its own.

No because magic isn't really that true, but miracles can happen. I think Jesus isn't a witch, a wizard, or a practitioner of magical arts. But miracles sometimes scares people though.

Magic always implies trickery & deception is involved.
Miracles are events which are beyond explanation.
Discernment is the process of telling the difference.
For the Church to accept a miracle it must be documented;
it's deemed a miracle once all explanations are exhausted.
Miracles continue to happen in the life of the Saints.
That's how we know the claims of Jesus were genuine.

Magic is an illusion. It never lasts long. Just like cults that were not of God they dont' last long they fade away.

Miracles are real things that happen permanently.
When the Pharisees were having fits about the Apostles preaching in the Temple about Jesus and the Resurrection(what the Pharisees called 'The Way") one of the Pharisees said if it wasnt' from God it would not last.

Miracles happen to those that believe.
