the Military offers several financial perks.. College Loan Repayment program is offered to enlisted personnel only. It pays off up to $30K in FEDERAL student Loans. Anyone, Officer and Enlisted alike, can choose to get the GI Bill..$1200 in payments can net you $30K and more for college after you leave Active Duty. If you want the Army to pay for your College BEFORE you serve, take a look at Army ROTC. FOr qualified appicants, they will pay for tuition and books, and pay you a small subsistence allowance. WHen you complete college, you will be commissioned. Take a look at the arym web page and look at ROTC. IF you are interested, find a College that offers Army ROTC and go talk to the folks there. The enlisted recruiters do not deal with Officer recruiting.
