Well duh... I know what "airman" means... I'm just curious if he did something extra or really well to earn the "warrior" part

Calling ourselves "warriors" is trendy right now regardless of whether we are actually personally involved in combat.

Compared to an Airman who graduated Basic fifteen years or so ago he can probably set up a tent and properly adjust the air-conditioner, carry his rifle all day without an accidental discharge, log on to his Yahoo account under field conditions, and find his way home WITH the aid of a map, compass, GPS, and AWACS guidance.

Seriously, he's more capable of taking care of himself in the field than we used to be when I came in, but still can't touch a real Soldier or Marine.

Well, that's simple:), it means that he has bright future ahead of him as an All-American Hero. He's going to be one of the next--not brainwashed because nobody is in the land of the free and home of the brave-- suicide bombers whose sole purpose of suicide is to kill the suicide bomber who poses a threat to the small percentage of the human population that he knows... He certainly couldn't be trying to kill terrorism, right? Because if he is, he's going to have to change his expertise. Try philosophy, and a practice called compassion, it's far more effective in times of controversy, you'll find....
honestly.

If he is in the army it may be Air/Cav.
If it the Air Force it could be for ground
combat when and were needed.
