God's word says that only a sellect few go, Jesus called them, little flock. They will serve as priests of God and as associate kings with Christ Jesus and they will rule over the earth the thousand years with Jesus. They will bring the earth and all the rest of those exercising faith in Jesus as savior and doing God's will back to perfection as it was in the beginning. Then there will be a final test, those who pass gain eternal life. Then Jesus will hand back the kingdom to his Father at the end of the thousand years so that God can be everything to everybody. And God will be the Soveriegn to times indefinite. You people really lack knowledge of God's word, don't you? How sad, how sad. To perish because of ignorance.

We are unable to fully serve God in this life due to sin but in Heaven "every curse will no longer be" (Revelation 22:3). We will not be under the curse of sin any longer so everything we do will be worship in Heaven. We will never be motivated by anything other than our love for God. Everything we do will be out of our love for God, untainted by our sin nature.
So what will we do? My favorite thing is learn. "For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?" (Romans 11:34) "in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge"
God's Word says we won't have to be in His paradise alone. "I shall fully know even as I also am fully known" (1 Corinthians 13:12). We will not only know our friends and family we will "fully know" them. In other words, there is no need for secrets in Heaven. There is nothing to be ashamed of. There is nothing to hide. We will have eternity to interact with "a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues" (Revelation 7:9). No wonder Heaven will be a place of infinite learning. Just getting to know everyone will take eternity!

In all honesty, there will be no flesh in Heaven nor hell, it will all be spirit. The Bible does speak that we in Heaven will be so happy and just serving the Lord for all eternity, minus all of the pain and confusion here on Earth.

I don't know that He says specifically what we will do there. We are supposed to be divinely happy in the presence of God forever. Maybe we get to play chess or something.

we wont be human in heaven... we will be spirits... our human body is just a vehicle for us right now, but in heaven, we wont need transport so we will be spirits.... our purpose in heaven is to live eternally with God, so he can follow thru on his promise to those who are true to him. our human minds cant even grasp what heaven is, or what its like, or the fact that we wont have human bodies... but there is a reason for that...God made our minds limited, so that when the time comes, it will be beyond anything we could ever imagine, and we can truly see its glory.

We are in heaven because earth is heaven so to speak. Heaven is a metaphor for the plethora of happiness we will never find.

I know that this may sound very boring to others, but I would hope that I could stand before His throne and sing and dance and praise Him for all eternity.
