i hate school too, but you gotta deal with it. I know exactly how you're feeling. I took a test the other day in computer science, and didnt understand a single word of it. But you gotta learn that school is a part of everyones life.
you have 2 options
1) you can stop caring about school and get crappy grades and destroy your future
OR
2) you can hang in there and try your best and pave the bright road ahead of you
as much as it sucks right now, one day, its all gonna be worth it. If you do good in school now, ull be makin big bucks one day and the kids who did nothing in school will be cleaning up your ****. Manage your time, study hard, go in for tutorials, talk to your teachers when you are having trouble. It is their job to help you. Dont give up!

I Hate to tell you this but school is a necessity. I hated school too and quit as soon as I could. Life got hard without much of an education and no skills, all I could get was low paying jobs that led nowhere.I was treated like garbage by some people because my clothes were old and worn and I was always broke. it took me a long time to realize I had to do something. I went back to school. I made it through collage (even though I was older than other students.) It was hard because i also had to work to support myself with very little money. But it all payed off. so my advice to you is to stay in school. Talk to a consular or a teacher you like about any problems. That is what they are there for. And calm down! Life is what you make it. Good Luck!!!

I am right there beside you man. I hate school too. I do like school when it is somthing I want to learn though. When I was in high school I didn;t do so great because I didn't care. Thats the way I didn't let school take over my life. I was more for talking with people in class than paying attention. I wouldn't recommend this though because I ended up having to go to independent study for the last 3 years of high school because I scwered up so much. You sound like you are doing more than you need to. At my high school you only had to finish Algerbra to graduate but of coarse they neglect to tell you that. So you end up going through geometry, and other higher math when you dont need to. When you get to college all you have to have done is algebra anyway. So if hate school that much and are doing unessessary classes then take them off and just do what you need to graduate. If you do this then your senior year will be awsome because you wont have as much class to go to. I am pretty sure the only classes that you have to take until your senior year is history and english. good luck.

I guess it is safe to say you won't be going to college! To bad! What do you plan on doing with you life? College is a lot tougher than High School you know. Lots more home work there. I wish you would just try to like it a little bit. Because High School is just so important to the rest of your life. If you quit now, I can grantee, that 20 years from now you will be kicking yourself in the but. I hope you remember writing this e-mail 20 years from know. I hope I run into you some day or live long enough to see what happens to you! Good Luck with you life!

The teachers hardly have control of your life. You always have contol. You need a perception shift. If you are having trouble with math...then you need to get help with math. It is not your teachers fault for teaching math. Everyone needs to learn math- even if it is not our best subject. Get some help in math. Once you are more confident you wont; hate it so much. The anxiety and anger you feel...is really towards yourself because you have self-doubt. Take action, learn how it is done and it will totally change your feeling. You are not a fool. You are not a brat. You are capable of making change. So do it.
School prepares you for life. As much as you will hate to hear it. We all have to have moments in our adult life that mirror days back at school.
Good luck friend

I think everyone hated school, but it does help to just stick it out and graduate. Companies tend to hire people who could graduate the first time and not get the Good Enough Diploma. Over the GED people. If ur in college it is always a good idea to graduate especially since ur paying for it, and you have a better chance at getting into the job you studied for. So stay in school, it is overwhelming at times.

Get used to what you call the school controlling your life. A major part of school is to make sure that you control your own life and obtain a good job. If not you will be sorry for the rest of your life.

i know how you feel. everything is so overwhelming and soon there's no time left for anything else. sometimes i try coping by taking a few minutes for myself (I'm sure that's still allowed--- even though i have enough homework stacked on my desk to be considered an architectural wonder) i just take a while to read, or have a cup of tea, or listen to music. then, however, it's right back to work. hope this helps... ?

Seriously, you need to change your mind. You are not seeing the end results which could be the new sports car, boat, house, get my drift? Learn to study, listen to the teacher so less studying is needed. Pay attention in class and ask questions when you don't understand the subject. Focus.
