It's mankind that's upset the ecological balance on the earth.
It's mankind that chooses not to heed warnings where earthquakes are likely to happen etc...etc

So why do you think some people blame 'God'?
(I've even seen priests & vicars blame God for the Tsunami)

it seems you need to learn to read questions properly before you answer them. -
People build homes etc on places they know are in disaster areas (like near volcanoes or on earthquakes faults) & then blame God for taking lives when they happen.

interesting...
it's kinda like ppl asking where's God w/ all the bad stuff goin on in the public schools in America..drug addicted teenagers, school shootings etc..they kick God out yet still blame Him..hmm
edit:
yep, a tv preacher blamed hurricane Katrina on the sins of New Orleans..if that's true, why did He take out the entire MS Gulf Coast & some of Alabama & Florida...& why doesn't He do something about Las Vegas & other stuff..the thing is we're (mankind) rebellious & bring bad things on ourselves sometimes..that's free will.( like u mentioned we upset the balance)

Only changes are the order of universe, everything is dynamic in a way, so by the same token there's no problem we can't solve, no end is really dead under this God's given wonderful world. Only human want to keep status quo which in turn eat up or taken their own life. As in many other events like hideous crimes, disasters, diseases etc, the more they come up, the more resources and studies are poured in to fix them, the event become wake up calls for human from their complacency or false realty that they're living in. The main theme is to know God and his way, how people lives should be under it, and not indulge in fancy or stagnant lifestyle. Lastly see this parable Luke12:15-21, you might get some incite from it.

I know what you mean, mankinds stupidity and ignorance is to blame. Man will always feel he has a God given right (pardon the pun) to live where they choose despite warnings. Grees I guess is the answer. Greed for money by the Developers. Blaming God is really the action of a non-chalant child is it not?

Have a star.

Couldn't agree more. It's Man's inhumanity to Man. God has nothing to do with it.

As for floods and stuff: If people buy a house on a flood plane, they've got no-one to blame, but themselves, especially not God. There is song we used to sing at Sunday School that I am reminded of everytime people ask for money because their house got flooded. It goes along the lines of:

The foolish man built his house upon the sand and the house on the sand fell flat.

People are too busy blaming God when things go wrong. They should be praising Him for all the hard times He brought them through, and all the good things He has done for them. Some people have money, or are to busy for the Lord, But when things go wrong, God is the first one they blame. We should be trusting in Him, and Praising him, not questioning Him, or accusing him of anything.

It is human nature to blame someone for things that go wrong. If this Omnipotent being referred to as God really existed and was responsible for creating the Earth, he made a pretty poor job of it in my opinion. Why did He make it in such a way that these disasters happen and then put fragile human beings on it to live? He is supposed to be 'our loving father'. Would you put your children into a garden with all sorts of dangers that could maim or kill them?

Jehovah is blamed for all of the problems of the earth because that is what Christendom and other false religions have done for thousands of years under the direction and influence of their god, Satan the Devil.
Satan is the original resister and slander; he has been since the beginning of mankind’s rebellion in Eden.
There is also time and unforeseen occurrences that befall mankind.

Probably because they have not been educated in science. The Bible says God causes earthquakes when he shakes the "pillars of the earth". So if a person has no science education to explain earthquakes as a natural phenomenon then they will think the Bible is true. It takes a pretty dumb person these days to believe the earth is flat, held up by pillars (like a gigantic oceanic oil-rig), but unfortunately there are many of them.

It's easy to blame the Creator for things. Many disasters are primed by man upsetting the eco system as you say. The result is usually the biosphere balancing itself in one way or another.
