Never, as the last time bows and arrows would have been used by any major force in Britain, there was no such thing as the British Army, it had not been formed.

I have been told but never been able to find definite evidence that during WWII some of the Commandos at their training base (Achnacarry, six miles from Spean Bridge) were shown how to use bows & arrows. Again I have been told that they were taken when the commandos went overseas. Did they ever use them ? No idea, but it is at least possible.
