If you suddenly change at school, of course people won't believe it - at first. But, why should you care what they believe? If you really have changed and you have God in your heart then people will eventually see this and will believe in you.

You can't just "ask" God to come into your heart and change you. You must sincerely make a change in your heart and create feritile soil for love to grow, and then God will plant the seed and be well pleased to watch it grow.

Maybe you're aware of the expectations people have of you in the church setting and you don't apply that awareness at school.

I've come to realize just because someone goes to church all the time, doesn't mean they are applying what they are being told. I don't mean to offend but in the Bible Belt, I see that all the time.

When you're at school treat people as you would like to be treated, keep that in mind at all times. If people don't have faith you can change than they are too immature to worry about.

Okay, you are scared to change for the good because you think people won't believe you? Who cares what they think! They don't matter, becoming a better person will bring you better friends who appreciate your manners, and kindness.
I hate it when people try to impress others or care to much. It doesn't even matter if you have anyone who calls you a friend if you have God right? Just change, if people don't accept it, they weren't your friends anyway.

it sounds like you really need some guidance. i have been in the same place that you are before. my advice is to pray for help from God, but also, make an effort to spend 5-10 minutes with him in the mornings, in bible study. the magazines brio and breakaway have monthly bible study guides on line that you can use. last, change takes time, so don't expect your transformation to happen over night, perseverance and prayer will help you reach your goal

you shouldn't care if the people at school believe you or not, just be who you want to be. it doesn't matter what others think of you and your change all that matters is that you're fine with who you are.
