The breed the Labrador with the different poodle sizes. Standard poodle, miniature poodle and toy poodle, The size of the dog gets smaller. The advantages are a low or no allergy dog with hair - not fur, so little shedding if any.
As for the designer dog label, we began adapting the domestic dog to our liking right from the start. Most modern dog breeds are less than 130 years old. Many highly recognized breeds died out and have been re-created by dedicated breeders.
However at the end of the day - anyone who pays big bucks in a pet store is criminal. And anyone who pays big bucks for a dog before checking a shelter is not a real dog lover.

Aussie Labradoodles are available in one size only, is the merge of a Lab and a standard poodle, with the possible addition of some other breeds in the past (thanks to the corrupted form in the US, the Aussie breeds history is already questionable).
An American Labradoodle is a mutt that is typically only available as a lab sized dog. Any attempt to breed this is an abomination and is harmful to all breeds and mutts.

DO NOT PAY for a mixed breeed dog when you can go to the shelters and get one.. LAB mixes make up the majority of these shelter dogs,,, go save a life...
a labradoodle is a fancy MADE UP name for a mixed breed dog,,, there are NO GUARNANTEES that this dog won't shed, ( labs shed alot)..
if you like the curly coated look try theses breeds, and research are reputable breeder.
Portuguese Water Dog
Curly Coated Retriever
Standard Poodle
Soft-Coated Wheaten terrier
to name just a few... with a purebred dog from a reputable breeder, you will know exactly what you are gonna get ( temperament, size, color, health etc. , expected life span etc. etc. etc.

Dont get a miniture goldendoodle or a petite one. Why would you do that? Why a Goldendoodle in the first place? Get another Golden Retrevier. Goldens are awesome dogs. why would you mix it with anything? why would you pay for a mix? Pay for a good Golden Retrever and get a dog that has garuntee's. From a reputable breeder instead of buying a dog from a breeder that is just going to take your money and not care about the breed.

I am another one who hates it when I see Puggles, Schnoodles, Shih-poo-poos, Peke-a-poos and whatever other silly names people can come up with listed in my local newspaper. And the people who buy these dogs, what are they thinking? They can find these same mixes right at their local shelter!!! I do like the idea behind the non-shedding working dog, therapy dog or whatever, I realize that some handicapped people have allergies. The IDEA is great, but it will take many many generations of selective breeding to get it right. To tout them as non-shedding is erroneous, because many of them do, in fact, shed. They need to come up with another way, Labs and Poodles have too many shared health problems and they need to incorporate other breeds to get the healthiest puppies, and on and on. But I find myself taking a neutral stance on this one, because like I said, the IDEA is a grand one, IF they can actually make it happen. It isnt going to happen with just breeding two dogs together, (most of the breeds we know and love today are the results of many years of breeding many different kinds of dogs together) I think it is unrealistic to believe even for one second that you can do this. So, as far as the size thing, the poodles come in different sizes, the labs are a one size fits all. They can take the smallest ones from a litter (and probably the unhelathiest ones) and call them toys, and take the next largest and call them petites, you get the idea. What I am saying is that it is strictly hit or miss. You breed two toy poodles together and you will get a litter of toy poodles. You breed two "toy" labradoodles together and who the heck knows what you will get. Hopefully I have been clear enough. In other words, there are really no size standards for labradoodles and anyone who says different is full of, well , doodoo.

Labradoodles are a cross breed, and have not been bred for enough generations to reliably predict size, colour, coat type - or anything else!

A labradoodle is a mutt. There are no standards for mixed breed dogs.
However, if you want to pretend that there are standards, here is someone else who does, too: http://www.rutlandmanor.com/ADS-breedstandard.htm

Is it something new from these "designer breeders"? If you want a labradoodle, why don't you take a look at your local shelters? I'm sure it will save you a lot of money from adopting, comared to those "designer breeders".

Get outta here.. They are a MUTT.. They have no size difference.. No standard, no consistency.. They are a mixed breed dog.. First they started ripping people off by getting them to buy mutts and pay big bucks.. Now they are breeding their sickly runts to make them smaller and you are still falling for it.. What's next.. Buying a dog that has already died.. Will that be the next new designer dog?? Cause they aren't lasting, they are sick, they are weak, and they are poorly bred dogs that are aggressive of fearful.. THEY ARE MUTTS..
If I sold you a handful of dirt and told you it was better dirt than the dirt in your yard.. would you pay me more for it?? NO.. You are paying big money for the same mutts that are at the shelter... Get over yourself and realize that you are being ripped off..

Measure the thickness of your wallet. It will get progressively smaller as you opt for a 'designer' mutt.
How can anything be 'miniature' with a Lab in it??!!??
