It just started today but it is really intense and now that I think about it my back is also hurting some but the more intense pain is in the "v" area where your legs and body are attached and it is going down my legs to my toes....

Oops, sorry guys, I am a female. I have not done any working out in the last couple of days and I have not lifted anything.. I was sitting up in a hard kitchen chair for a few hours though.. maybe that has something to do with it?

Hernia, that is what it sounds like. I am assuming that you are male, cuz women don't get them. Did you lift anything heavy recently?

Are you taking any medications, "statins" in particular? Did you do any strenuous exercise in the last day or so? Have you fallen or twisted or lifted something improperly in the last couple of days such that you might have pinched a nerve?

I have the same V shape pain and it is a pain. Mine is caused by a bulging disc sitting on the nerve roots and its not fun. Suggest you see a Doc asap as they have already told me I am at risk for loosing my bowel and bladder function! Good Luck!

If this is really intense pain your body is trying to tell you something. I would have it check out by a professional and not try to diagnose myself.
