I've read the books that interpret this very thing from the writtings of the Samairians. Very interesting and has good evidence to back it up. But the aliens belive in God too, It's the power of the universe.

God is the whole universe, aliens are just a part of it.
aliens may have super powers, so have the humans.
but the power is dormant deeply, if aroused without proper giudance can be harmful.
secondly, powers can make one arrogant, that's why masters don't give them easily, they continue to test you, till they find you are ready to receive them.
astral travel is a simple way to go in any corner of the universe. it's a human power which comes naturally through yoga and meditation.
telekinesis, telepathy, prediction of future events are all inside you waiting to be used.

There was a guy in the 60's call Erich Von Daniken, wrote books 'proving' that god was an astronaut. It was so a load of b*****ks - mountings out of mole hills; false evidence etc.
It started me thinking. A dangerous think because it led to me dumping all superstitions and belief in any supernatural and thus becoming an atheist.

we know that earth exist by extrapolation we can easily belief that other planets with life 'as we know it' exist.
