if it's just been sitting for 2 years, i'd say you'd be wise to get it tuned up. it can never hurt, and if it doesnt need much, even better!
for starters play the A note above middle C, and compare that to the dial tone of the phone (which is good old A 440). if they sound like the same note, your piano is probably pretty close to being in tune. from there, check all the other A notes and see how they sound comparatively. then just play a major scale and see if it sounds like "do re mi fa so la ti do" in tune.
you could always get a chromatic tuner and check, but unless you have the tools (and ability) to tune the thing up, it'd kinda be pointless other than telling the piano tuner how far everything is out.
long story short, having it tuned once a year is a pretty standard thing for most people, so if its been almost 2, its probably best to just have it done. good luck!

you should get it tuned at least once a year, more if you live in an area where the weather occillates between extreme heat and cold a lot.
I like to get it tuned at least in the mid fall after the heat that makes the strings expand, and before the winter makes it contact. I also keep my piano in the coolest room in the house to keep the heat away from it. it helps the strings stay taunt longer.
since you noticed that the piano doesn't match up well, it definitely indicates a tune up is needed.

It just sounds like an old piano to me. I agree that voicing is needed.

A piano should be tuned AT LEAST once a year, and preferably once every six months or anytime the piano is moved to another location whether or not you think it is needed.

When it sounds out of tune.
Once you' ve had it done check with the piano tuner but you should probably have it done annually.
