What you do with Jesus Christ, “God manifest in the flesh” (1Tim. 3:16) reveals what you ultimately love and where you will spend ETERNITY.
To be saved - “born again” - you must turn in your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ from sin and receive Him as your Savior. You can + must know His forgiveness and receive His Holy Spirit. Be baptized under water in identification with your Lord and follow Him with a Bible believing church (Read Acts). Praise the Lord!
Humble yourself as a guilty and helpless sinner and ask the Lord Jesus to save you, giving your sins and life to Him. “the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner” (Lk. 18:13). God giveth grace unto the humble.

We are here to learn. This is simply a school that we choose (yes you chose this crap) to learn to evolve and perfect ourselves for our Creator(s). You can read a book and learn something but until you apply it and actually DO IT, there is not complete knowledge. God has complete, perfect knowledge, but can't be perfect w/o DOING, so that is our job, we do the "doing".

That is up to us now. Having evolved a massive 'thinking' brain capable of higher states of consciousness and the ability to reflect on the nature of being/reality - and with advancing science and technology - literally transform (as well as destroy) our world, this is EXACTLY the question we should be asking.

To prove to God we are worthy to enter Heaven. Some of us may have to repeat our time here on earth before we get there, but all will get there eventually because we are all God's children, even those who are of different faiths or no faith at all...
