Plastic Surgery cost can be divided in 3 main costs, the surgeon fee, the anesthesiologist fee and the facility fee. That's why cost can be so different. Data from the American Society for Plastic Surgeons reveals that the average cost for the surgeon fee is around U$ 5000, you can read more about cost of plastic surgery here http://www.aestheticandplastic.com/before-your-surgery/average-surgeon-fees-2.html and about tummy tuck here http://www.aestheticandplastic.com/procedures/abdminoplasty-2.html

Tummy tuck surgery is not for weight loss - it is to remove excess skin, and is often done AFTER weight loss.
The cost varies by surgeon and location, but should be between $5000-10,000. The cost may also vary depending on the particulars of what YOU need to have done. (If you've just lost 200 pounds, it's a bigger operation than if you are a little loose after having a few kids.)
Stick with a Board certified plastic surgeon, instead of going for the lowest cost option. See a few surgeons, and choose the one that you trust the most.
Good luck!

Surgery for purely cosmetic reasons nobody will cover. Things that aren't usual in people, like a cleft palate or something that needs to be reconstructed to bring you back to your normal self (say you lost a finger, or went through breast cancer and needed an implant) insurance companies will cover it. With certain surgeries you can get lucky. My friend went in to get her nose done, turns out she could only breathe out of one nostril (deviated septum) and had 2 breaks, so her insurance paid for it. You might (slight chance) be able to argue for the tummy tuck if you had kids, but no way is anybody going to pay for a butt augmentation. Your best bet is to: - put it on credit - find a sugar daddy lol - find a hospital that will let you pay in chunks good luck

It is much cheaper and healthier to just lose the weight and make the lifestyle changes in eating habits and excercise habits. If those changes are not made, you will just put all the fat back on in a short amount of time. Surgery is supposed to be the means of LAST resort not just a way to avoid conducting a proper diet and excercise regimen, which will leave you being more healthy in the long term.
