First step. You go to the DMV and take a written test, to get your permit. Then you schedule an appointment for a drive test.

Depending on what state you are in. What their rules are, and how busy they are. It may be possible to take the written test, at the same time you take the drive test.

At very least you will need to pass a written test, before you can take the drive test. You will need to be able to drive before you can take the drive test. If you try and take the drive test with out first practicing. There is a very good chance, you will not pass.

No. You have to get a permit for 3 month or 6 months depends on where you live. In Michigan where I used to live you took a test waited 90 days and then if you past you were good to go. Here in Kentucky you have to wait 6 months. The people down here still can't drive and they had 6 months to get in right! SO sorry no you have to get one no matter what.

All states have different policies and procedures.

So it all depends on where you live.

Most states require all new drivers to get a learner's permit first and practice driving something like 25 or 50 hours before they can apply for a full license.

Many states also require driver's education of some sort.

Taking and passing driver's education was part of my children's high school graduation requirements.

I am 21 and not only do I still have to get a permit which costs $50 and expires within a year unless I get my license, but they also say I HAVE to go to driving school, which costs $300+. And I am in Maryland and people are very poor...I am not even in like one of those rich towns where everything is expensive, and yet it still costs that much.

The enable is the licence to income! you're no longer criminal to force a motor vehicle with out the enable, therefor you are able to't take the driving force try with out it. You get the enable after passing the written factor. In some states, you are able to nicely be waiting to take the two tests the comparable day, yet in lots of you have have a definite volume of qualified and recorded prepare and/or training.

By law you are considered an adult
so i would think that you should be able to as long as you pass all of the tests.
When i turned 18 i had no problem.
