Hi Jim, well I'm a older woman and I'm with a younger guy, 22. the way he reeled me in was because he is very assertive, and just went for what he wanted. he is a great conversationalist, and we can talk for hours ! when ever he calls me, he starts the conversation, by asking how I am doing and how was my day, and if I'm okay. he does this with every conversation, and that is what hooked me, because older women need attention, and lots of it ! so my advice is to be very attentive, ask her about her kids, and what they are doing, during your conversation, ask her about her family, her mom, dad, siblings, act interested in her life, and let her vent whenever she need to, be a good listener, and also learn how to hold a good conversation, if you cant figure out what to say, just ask her a question, and let her do the talking. dont bring up sex, unless she brings up the subject first. but dont act to clingy and needy, dont call her all day, just maybe once a day, and she will eventually invite you over to her house when she is ready...good luck

1. Talk to her
2. Find some interest you both share and start becoming her friends
3. tell her how you feel after you have become very close
4. Worse thing that could happen is if you let the opprutunity slip by you.

Good luck!

If you're too shy to even talk to someone, what makes you think a scenario involving an instant family is a good idea?
