Don't assume BLANKET statements about people---I think all the immigrants are wonderful, very brave and smart, if they're coming to the USA. My ancestors came in 1650, and never looked back.
We're all here for the same reason---self-fullfillment, and it has nothing to do with the government.
I sympathise with the immigrants because they do not quite realize how much they will have to change emotionally. The rest of us, who have already been on the journey, know, and it's challenging.

Most immigrants over the decades have entered this country through a legal process and have assimilated into American culture and language to create the melting pot that we are as a country. As a result our country has a variety of different styles and cultures and each brings a unique addition to what we are as a country. More recently there have been an extremely high volume of immigrants that 1) enter illegally, 2) refuse to assimilate 3) demand special treatment 4) drain resources that are supposed to be for citizens 5) want to be hyphenated Americans rather than be Americans.. When there is a melting pot, and so many don't want to be emulsified into the American culture, then the result is a large collection of un-emulsified slag floating on top that has a bad flavor and needs to be thrown out. That is why so many are angry.

For me, no, it is not a recognition element. i'm getting aggravated because of the fact it somewhat is getting actual crowded, there are adequate people right here already. I additionally get aggravated at people who abuse the generosity of our usa. it is not somewhat the fault of the immigrants who're coming right here legally the two, the regulations of immigration have been replaced years in the past and that they are too lenient now, permitting too many immigrants in. This land can purely sustain maximum of persons and the government has screwed up royally in this.

IT wasn't as big a deal when they made up 5 or 10% of the country's population. But they are going to approach 15% soon and they are the fastest growing ethnic group. So obviously people feel threatened. And they are also starting to catch up with other races in crime and gang activity. And starting to not be able to trust to do a job in some cases (seems they will never turn a job down and will say they can do anything when they can't do certain jobs well).
It is only the ILLEGALS tha tmost people have a problem with.
I'm just stating my observation.

Nope. We LOVE immigrants...we HATE ILLEGAL ALIENS because they have no right to be in our country and yet seem almost self-satisfied that they are here. They break multiple laws, bring neighborhoods down, cost the nation excessive amounts of money and degrade jobs that should be going to the working poor.
They are NOT an asset to our country as legal immigrants are. They give nothing and take take take take.
We aren't angry because it's "popular"...come one...we aren't in high school anymore. The cause is popular because it is JUST. We are angry because we SHOULD be angry to be invaded in this manner. These parasites need to go.

My husband is an immigrant. I'm not angry at him. Oh wait a minute, never mind. You don't REALLY mean immigrants, you mean "illegal aliens", the criminals. My bad.
I keep forgetting. You people group illegal aliens together with LEGAL immigrants to make it seem as if they are one and the same, when they are not. One group of people are criminals, subject to arrest and deportation at any time (the illegal aliens), the other group (legal immigrants) is not.

So have people angry at immigrants. No change, save that some more were added to their ranks by the people who don't know the difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration and support the avoidance of border checks for:
terminal contagious diseases
felony background records
minimal job skills
Kind of upsetting to have people who have come to be Americans so blatantly disregard the basic laws of our country by defending those who do break them.
However, it is the immigrants who DON'T support illegal immigration (vast numbers of them) who restore our hope and support in legal immigration, which is why we DON'T have quotas.
Bless our (legal) immigrants.

Surprise!!
Every country has immigration laws.
Every country has the right to have immigration laws.
Every country enforces its immigration laws, or any laws for that matter.
Every country has the right to enforce its immigration laws, or any laws for that matter.
Any country's citizens has the right to demand its government enforce its borders and immigration laws.
America's citizens, likewise, whether YOU like it or not, has the right to demand its government enforce its borders and immigration laws.
P.S. My wife is an immigrant (legal) Asian, so don't try that racist crap with me. And she, as well as her immigrant family (all LEGAL) is also against illegal aliens of ALL races.

Why can't you see the difference between an illegal and legal immigrant?
YES --> LEGAL immigrants have always been here and are welcomed with open arms.
Illegal immigrants are a burden to society - they steal, murder, rape, and commit various atrocities within our nation.. Not to mention the fact that they make up a huge percentage of inmates & cost us billions of dollars annualy.
