Please help! I am a new Vista user and am working on updating my resume, currently I have my resume on one and half pages and I need it to fit to one page (not just when printed, but on the actual document). I know there is a way to do this on MS Word 2003, but I haven't been able to figure it out on Vista. Thank you!

Vista has nothing to do with it. It is just Word you need to deal with.

If the resume is close to one page look over the wording to see if you can delete some phrase that puts it over the edge. Look at the type size to see if you can tighten it down (12 pt to 11 pt). Look at the margins and decrease them slightly. Look at any paragraphs that have just a few words on their last line and see if you can get that line to disappear with some word changes above it.

If you are significantly longer than a page you will need to review the resume and see if you are including spurious info that could be taken out. That will make it fit and also read better.

Wait for the printer manufacturer to write Vista compatible drivers. In the meantime, take your files elsewhere to be printed, a friend or Staples, etc.
