So a few weeks ago I got some little spikey things stuck in my toe when I was walking around in flip flops (they're the little spikes from some big sticker type things). Anyways, I thought I got them all out, but today I noticed a little black spot on my toe about where they were, and so I think there's still one there. So my question is, how can I get it out?

Well if it is really irratating you and it hurts, Try picking it out with a sterilized needle, and some tweezers might help you out too. If you cant do this, go to a doctor, they'll take it out quickly. If it dosent bother you, leave it alone. It is a foregin object, mosti likely in the epidermis of you skin (the outer layer) and your body will reject it at one point eventually.
hope this helps = )

You have got alot of good ideas on here already , but if you touch it with a needle, the black if it herts realy bad to touch the black then it is probably still in there , take the needle and go around the black touching it with the needle the whole time ,,around and around and the splinter will walk itself out,,you don't have to go very deep , just wiggle the splinter a scoash from all sides just some and it will come walking out

I don't think you can get it now. It sounds though like the skin pretty much grew over it. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's really irritating your toe. Then you might need surgery. I myself probably still have little chunks of asphalt still embedded in my arm from this time I wiped out attempting to street luge 15 years ago. I put a skateboard under a sled and tried to ride down the hill. Needless to say it lost control and slid into a gutter and i got road rash.

Hope your toe's doing o.k.

A little painful but you need to take a needle and break open the skin on top and around the black spot then you can see if the splinter is still there ,if it is then take a pair of twisers and remove it..Then take some peroxide and apply to the area you broke open and it will be fine..

I wouldn't worry about it. I've had a splinter that I couldn't get out and I just left it and it eventually worked its way out by itself. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get infected. Or if it's really bugging you, soak your toe and dig it out with a sterile needle.

Soak your foot in water, then it will come out, but wait till your foot is all wrinkly. If that doesnt work, use tweezers. and if THAT doesn't work, go to the doctor, they'll get it out.
