Well is it? I know I dont look that great, but I'd still like to date a beautiful girl. Any guy who wouldn't is lying to you. So is that wrong? Advice?

I don't find that. I dated a reaaally attractive boy for a while, and I don't consider myself remotely beautiful. I mean, sure, I'm decently pretty, but not outstanding. There were much more gorgeous girls at my school. I get a decent amount of boys, whenever a dance comes around I'm not left standing by myself, and my feelings are usually reciprocated. But with boys it's kind of like a contest. What boy wouldn't want to show off his hot girlfriend?

Of course not. But remember there are some not so beautiful girls who want to date attractive guys, so it works both ways. Once people get past the physical attraction and get to know the real person, that is what really matters most of all. A beautiful exterior doesn't guarantee a beautiful interior... which is why many attactive men and women are on their third and fourth marriages.

Its not wrong to want to date a beautiful girl even if you think your not very attractive... well put it this way if a girl is beautiful on the inside and out then she'll get with a guy for his personality and attitude towards her not just his looks, and that my friend is true beauty.

its not wrong to want to date an attractive girl. actually everyone wants to date an attractive person (though what we see as attractive varies). just dont let that stop you if you find a great girl that isnt super hott. and at the same time dont date a girl just because shes hott. look at all the beautiful women but when you fall in love she may just be an average looking girl

There is nothing "wrong" with it, but if you ignore a great girl with average looks while holding out for the "perfect" one, then you're wasting your time---and you're probably going to end up alone.
It might seem nice to have some "arm candy", but if the girl has nothing but looks going for her, you're going to end up bored and frustrated eventually.
You should try to find some balance---maybe an all-around type. Someone with a personality, decent looks, and a great attitude; you'll be happier in the end.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It is not shallow for you to want to date a girl who is beautiful to you. No girl would want you to date her if you thought she wasn't beautiful...inside and out.

Honestly no i don't think it's wrong. You kno what, if you've got a good heart and personality... you deserve the best girl out there. Looks don''t matter... i kno a guy at uni who's hot, he likes me but i won't give him a chance.. why? because he KNOWS he's good looking and is too cocky. Guys who are down to earth are alot better. So if you like her, go for it. If she thinks she's better than you, well then it's her loss, not yours. Good luck :)

lol, you not a freak for wanting a cute girl. I may not be what they can "female" but if you want to go out with her, than ask her out. some things that attract girls are
being an overall nice person,
having a since of humor,
and most importantly, not look like a guy that is trying to be popular.

It is supposed to be what is on the inside that counts, as we age the first thing to leave us is our looks or lack there of. We had better hope we have either a great heart or personality, because after the beauty fades, that is all we or our partner is left with.
