Well bloddy H*ll. In Oklahoma moving to Texas you only have one week to get a Texas drivers licence. Car title regristration can run out but you must also have Texas Auto Insurance and Get your State of Texas Inspection Sticker. Everywhere is different laws vary. Get that unpaid fine taken care of Mate!

Here in the USA i got the same crap. Get a means of proof of where you were and when you came. Rent receipts? Movers and gas receipts. Job last on and when. Utilities signups, shut offs in last place.
Also, hve someone check to see if another person of similar name and or same initials on front of name is around. I had 14 people of same Initials and last name, 3 with same first name and last with same middle initial, 5 of us had exactly the same name.
The Red Cross was trying to find them; there was a car wreck and a family member had died.
Check for
Doctor's Bills' where and when as well. I think the one where you are confused for someone else having the same name thing is the one for you. Check with motor vehicles dept there. Tell them what is happening. Ask for help. Cannot hurt.
