Perhaps the corollary insult (which this is) could be phrased, "Perhaps the reason the believer continues to believe in God is for the same reason that children continue to believe in Santa Claus."

And the reason you cannot find unicorns is that you know they only go near those pure of heart, right?
It's the old "all morals come from a god, and specifically my god".
If you found out tomorrow that no gods have ever existed, would you start killing, raping and stealing? Is your belief the only thing preventing you from doing that right now?
If so, are you really a moral person?
If theists believe they are rewarded for doing good, it's only atheists who only do good because they are good, not because they believe they will be rewarded.
And let me point out that your god is not somebody I'd consider moral - sending bears to kill kids for making fun of a bald guy, murdering babies, drowning kittens...

Atheists don't want to find God? Sorta illogical there, us atheists have no concept of a God or any higher deity. It just simply isn't a possibility.

Now your doing the same thing to atheists.
But if we say something about your mystical god, you'll have another hissy fit. Is that the christian way!

That's the most common lie that believers tell about atheists.
Before I came to R&S I had no idea there were so many Christians so eager to lie like that.

Us atheists shouldn't have to find God, he should probably come to us.
And he hasn't, and won't.

Sorry, I don't get it.
Deists say god is everywhere. Assuming that's correct, it wouldn't need "finding" really. Wouldn't we just stumble upon it somewhere?
