how can you tell if the way you're acting is just because of your personality or if it's because of your mental illness. for example, i have Bipolar, but i am an Aquarius and the way Aquarius people act is VERY similar to the Bipolar illness.

There are strong genetic issues with being bipolar. You cannot help that. (So Cassius was not entirely correct, was he?) But being an Aquarius is hardly relevant. Bipolar persons are born equally under all the Zodiac signs.

I have a question for you. Do ALL Aquarians ACT the same? No they do not, therefore it follows that the guidelines for astrology are corrupt. I always find it funny that people will look at THEIR horoscope and follow what it says. THERE ARE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WITH THE SAME BIRTH MONTH. It is absurd to think that everyone born in February will act the same, like the same things and get along with all other people born on some other date.
And, I too am bi-polar. And I act differently as I go through my swings. It has nothing to do with personality. It is just the way I am. I am on Lithium and it helps a lot. But I still have bad days.

I posted ? on bipolars today. Because I was in hurry and did not type well or in fragments the 1st replier said I sounded Bipolar well they are STUPID. I am not. It doesn't run in my family and I have been to counsel. I am one of these people that that attracts people who have problems that want to be an extrovert etc like me. I am the fish so I do not know if signs has anything to do with it I just know that I do NOT have mood swings that affect my work.I do around hormonal times so that a med issue. Its runs in families.Oprah W. has done some shows on this issue in last few wks. and many things they say the fish is I am not.You hang in there one day at a time. like a Person on the show said. GET LIVING.take your meds if you are Bio, avoid your weak areas. Good Luck Chin up.........

Mental illness doesn't affect the astrology part. Otherwise everyone be born at the same time.I'm a Libra and I have 2 sisters without my medical problem.Bipolar epileptic.Your genes in your family is what affects it.

You'll have to see all the sympotms of Bipolar and see if your acting normal or not. For example, I'm obssesive a bit and I'm a Taurus and most Taurus's act this way.

astrology has nothing to do with your personality, it is only for entertainment.
Read the daily or weekly horoscope. Compare other star signs to yours. Notice how many of them will have a general statement that will, most likely, apply to your individual situation. Nearly all daily newspaper horoscopes are not carefully constructed, or are in fact generated randomly.

How 'bout me???...I'm Gemini..the twins!! Can I blame these 2 "personalities" on my Gemini sign.? lol...I think it could have a lot to do with it...altho I don't know that much about astrology..just that what it says about me seems to fit me (whether I like it or not).!
