I been thinking about buying a ps3? but i don't have a 1080p hdmi tv, just a 1080i. will i still be happy with the graphics? is the ps3 worth buying in general?

Definiely. If you have a 1080i tv then you shouldn't even think about it twice. I'm running my PS2 on a standard tv and its still way awesome, lightyears better than the 360?

u will still be happy with the graphics, it's not too huge of a difference.
with the 80gb out, i'd say yes. there will be plenty of good games coming out on it. some PS3 has the exclusives that appeal to me; such as, Killzone 2, FFXIII and Versus, MGS, White Knight Story, Kingdom Hearts III, GOW III, and others. The multiplatfrom games are also cool; like, Assassins Creed, Call to Duty 4, Army of Two, Kane & Lynch, DMC 4, The Last Remnants and a few others. besides, there are games lik warhawk, heavenly sword, lair(which is a good game imo), and resistance that u can play as u wait for the new ones to come out.

I run my PS3 on regular 100 HZ TV and picture is amazing. On your TV is going to be really great, MUCH better, than any other console. Get PS3 immideately and enjoy! :-)
