Lemur The Great Spirit has given us freedom to believe or not to, but I have a feeling He is listening and will be there for you even if you don,t believe in Him. Man has made The Great One look like a monster at times and I believe that with the freedom of choice all man will one day come to see that The Great Spirit did this for a very good reason. To me you are like the man who was walking along the beach talking to The Great Spirit and suddenly he couldn't see His footprints any more and thought that The Great One had left him, only when the prints appeared again did he realize that He had not left him. He wanted the man to know that even if you can't see or talk to Him in human form that He is always with us even when you don't believe

It sounds to me like you do believe in him when you put it like that. No one can tell you why God thinks the way he thinks, to say they can would be saying that they are God. With that in mind remember everyone has there own opinions and believes. Here are mine..... God does not get mad, that is a HUMAN emotion. Many people make the mistake of humanizing God. God is love, he loves you unconditionally. He will always believe in you even if you don't believe in him, that's why you are here.

Most gods, especially the patriachal sky gods, are vicously jealous and cruel. For some reason human beings tend to give the gods they create the worst of human vices. I find that creepy.

Good question. Why would a supreme being care whether ppl believe in it? Morality would be the concern of a god worthy of reverence. A god who wants ppl to worship it is small.

Its because God is in ur belief, If u belive God is there, God is there. Otherwise, it is not. If i believe God is not present and if i dont believe in him, he doesnt mind because u dont mind.
It is the mind of urs who is telling u that God is not present. and it is ur mind that is telling u dont believe in God, then also it is ur mind who tells u God does not mind. So if u believe in God, if u think that he may mind on something, that ur mind will say that He minds.........
I hope that u get what i want to say

God DOES mind. He minds so much that He willingly sacrificed Himself in your place. He minds so much that He, all powerful, all knowing, infinite, came to Earth and took the form of man, and allowed Himself to be ridiculed, denied, and put to death to allow every one of us, you included, to have the opportunity to have a relationship with Him. It's pretty amazing, actually. He knew that mankind could not understand anything greater than a love that would exchange their life for another. He put salvation into human terms, through Christ Jesus, and He did it for the love of you. An all powerful God did that for the least of us.

He doesnt mind because we have all come here on a mission to enhance our souls. while we are here we all have free will to do what we want and to believe what we want he knows that and when our time has come we will all return to the spirit world and to god and only then will we know the truth.
