I used to be Atheist, now I'am actively searching God through researching religions..(im now on Islam and Christianity FYI).....but what i fear is that..what if i die tommorow while im still on this journey of mine discovering God and the right way to serve him. Would i get sent to hell? even though i had good intentions of seeking the truth? thankyou

If you were to die "Having heard nothing of Jesus Christ",
and you are honestly searching for the "ONE" True God,
I believe the "Word of God" teaches that you will be judged by the knowledge you have and how you are living your life according to the knowledge that you have received.

"Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened". Pretty powerful stuff. If you are truly seeking, God will reveal Himself to you.

One interesting point, since you are studying different religions:

All religions, except Christianity, rely on mankind reaching up to God. Islam - pray 5 times a day, fast during Ramadan, etc.; Hindu - live a really good life so that you can eventually be reincarnated into the next highest being; Buddhism - live a really good life so that you will eventually enter into oneness with the universe (yes I know I am over simplifying).

In Christianity alone is God reaching down to mankind. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast."

Even before starting searching for truth you were a nice person. loving. respecting generous and kind, you could never go to hell. Since though you are in your journey, enjoy the feeling of being amongst others believing people and the protection from Lord. Time to put down all the weight you have been carrying all this time. You are not alone anymore never mind wich religion you pick in the end of the day.

According to the Christians, YES. I, Wiccan, do not believe in hell. I do not see how a good person can be sentenced to torment just because they do not believe the 'right' thing. If anything was worth the sentence, it should be the person's actions.

I am a Christian, and I'm so glad that God has revealed himself to you. God can see into your heart, and I trust he will not make you die just one second before you accept him. Keep it up. You are on the right track.

There probable is a parting of the procedures up there on the better plane of celestial existence. people who desire to bypass the Christian way are unfastened to accomplish that in basic terms as nicely as all of us who needs to maintain on with yet differently. All roads bring about God so I hear. they don't all ought to bypass the comparable way. in the top in basic terms people who desire to will bypass the Christian way. i don't understand what way truthfully each and every person else will bypass yet it fairly is their problem.

As a free thinker I would think the higher power would understand that you do believe in them but you are trying to find them. So, no hell for you.
