I see your point in this. The fact that the Earth is vulnerable to collision with a comet or asteroid does present the question of whether or not turkeys will continue to survive indefinitely. Along with the threats of potential climate change, nuclear war, global pestilence, and traffic accidents in general, it would make sense for turkeykind to spread itself amongst the stars. As the famed rocket scientist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky might have stated:
"The Earth is the cradle of turkeykind, but turkeys cannot stay in the cradle forever."
Given the category, if the day of Ragnarök comes upon Midgard, all bets are off.
