We have the ones that went out from us but because they left us is proof they were NEVER with us. And then we have the ones who NEVER even had the smarts to pretend they were with us. These are the ones that sneak over the gate and do not enter the sheepfold by the gate. These are the stealers. These are Herod's soldiers roaming around searching for the babies to destroy---the hungry lions.

We are the ones who are totally sheep. We follow our leader and our shepherd all the way to the cross. If you want to see wolves, you might look to those who are trying to silence all mention of God in the world. The packs are growing stronger and they howl loud at the mention of his name, but they will find little comfort in the small battles they win to remove his name...They will lose the war.

Oh, I don't mind the "born-again" terminology at all.

<-----------------

I also don't mind "Bible-believing", because I am that, too.

The more predatory among fundamentalist preachers are like wolves, yes. But I think the majority are still sheep, though they've wandered quite a long way from home.

Those who put themselves out there to be great knowers of Biblical truth but use it to mislead people for their own profit are the wolves. It is usually anyone who ends their broadcast with a desparate plea for financial assistance.

Thats referring to religious leaders who can say very seemingly good things, but aren't actually born again. To be born again one has to accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord - but God's grace will lead one into obedience. (So catholics, who might not like the "born-again" terminology, are actually born-again if they've at some point put their trust in Jesus as their Saviour).

No. Those are the people who try to deceive people away from the truth of Scripture, & Jesus.

First, let's look at Jesus' words in this Epochal Revelation in the Public Domain that can be shared with all:

Page-1571 "I warn you against false prophets who will come to you in sheep's clothing, while on the inside they are as ravening wolves. By their fruits you shall know them. Do men gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree brings forth good fruit, but the corrupt tree bears evil fruit. A good tree cannot yield evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is presently hewn down and cast into the fire. In gaining an entrance into the kingdom of heaven, it is the motive that counts. My Father looks into the hearts of men and judges by their inner longings and their sincere intentions.

Page-1584 Jesus advised them to take neither money nor extra clothing, saying, "The laborer is worthy of his hire." And finally he said: "Behold I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be you therefore as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves. But take heed, for your enemies will bring you up before their councils, while in their synagogues they will castigate you. Before governors and rulers you will be brought because you believe this gospel, and your very testimony shall be a witness for me to them. And when they lead you to judgment, be not anxious about what you shall say, for the spirit of my Father indwells you and will at such a time speak through you. Some of you will be put to death, and before you establish the kingdom on earth, you will be hated by many peoples because of this gospel; but fear not; I will be with you, and my spirit shall go before you into all the world. And my Father's presence will abide with you while you go first to the Jews, then to the gentiles."

Page-1819 "But I also am the true shepherd who is willing even to lay down his life for the sheep. The thief breaks into the fold only to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; but I have come that you all may have life and have it more abundantly. He who is a hireling, when danger arises, will flee and allow the sheep to be scattered and destroyed; but the true shepherd will not flee when the wolf comes; he will protect his flock and, if necessary, lay down his life for his sheep. Verily, verily, I say to you, friends and enemies, I am the true shepherd; I know my own and my own know me. I will not flee in the face of danger. I will finish this service of the completion of my Father's will, and I will not forsake the flock which the Father has intrusted to my keeping."

From the above, I see the real "wolves in sheep's clothing" today on earth as the godless, liberal secular humanists who talk modestly or favorably about religion, but are trying to destroy Christianity, or greatly reduce the huge number of humans worldwide who love and follow our Master Jesus Christ. The "far-right fundamentalists" of many religions are much more honest; they are wolves looking as wolves.

To see many false prophets today, just listen to, with wise discernment, the spinning, slick news media and politicians.
