Just curious and thought it might be interesting to see, if the Presidential election were today, what the trends would be by belief system.
So... if you are an atheist, who would you vote for?
If you are a Christian, or have other religious beliefs you follow,
who would you vote for?
Indicate as above, and if you wish, add any thoughts or explanation.

As a Christian I would vote or Romney. I am not a Christian, but a Pagan, and I will probably still vote for Romney.

I don't vote based on a candidates belief or lack therein, I go for content.

Anyone who votes by religion is just allowing themselves to get played through emotional and spiritual manipulation.

I'm Pagan

Not one candidate has proven to be that interesting yet. In truth, I like Dennis Kucinich. He is very straightforward about his stances and I appreciate that. Unfortunately, I know he will never make the ticket. I haven't heard anything but hideous sound of spinning so far. Ask again closer to November and I'll have made a decision. My vote, however, would never go to a right-leaning Republican.

Either Hillary or Obama. Hillary can be a tough b*tch, and that's what we need in the Office, and she also has a TON of experience both in the Senate *and* in the White House itself. Obama seems honest and level-headed, though his experience is lacking in some areas...

Overall, if the election were today, I'd have to vote Hillary.

I'm so fed up with the two party system, I'm now a registered Green, and I plan to vote 3rd party all the way.

I think it's sad, in fact frightening, that a person's religion or lack thereof should be of ANY consequence to candidacy.
