If not, why aren't muslims getting upset at the people that do these things?

I know it's in the koran, the bible says to stone people also, but I don't think jews have stoned people for hundreds of years, and christians have not burned people at the stake for a long time. Christians and Jews agree these things are wrong. What do muslims think?

Christians stoned people very very long ago in Biblical times but when Jesus came he did away with that. Remember what he said: "You who have not sinned throw the first stone", but no one could because they were all sinners. Remember that? So something that man had made up to stone people in the first place, was set right when Jesus came to teach and learn the people of his upcoming kingdom.
Secondly, in regards to Muslims, yes, they still stone women. I have seen over the past few months several women being stoned by other so-called Muslims. They are lying on the dirt, outside on the street, and they stoned these women to death.
Muslims like to claim that they are a peaceful religion and people, but if you read the Quaran, they do speak of suicide being permissable, killing others for the sake of Allah or land, and they do stone women to death even till today.
People are so stupid and gullible, and they love to be violent and evil because they have no control over themselves even though they could, but most people don't want to think properly for themselves. They just want to "belong" to a group or religion "just for the sake of belonging" to something. Most people from what I've seen, period---- are demon possessed anyway.
It's going to take Armageddon to set matters right in the earth that means God sending his Son to remove all the wicked ones in the earth. Then the meek shall inherit the earth and live in the abundance of peace forever.
Read Psalms 37. It's so beautiful. I daydream about Psalms 37 everyday. I cannot wait until Armageddon. I'm ready. I don't know if I'll "make it" but anything is better than living in this sick, frightening, evil world the way things are now.

Speaking for myself i like a couple of nice be-headings a week.
Stoning has kind of turned into a spectator sport since I threw out my shoulder chunking at a Pentecostal missionary.
I have forty seven wives that I beat each day,and I hate puppies.
Really Muslim Brother and Sisters,is there any point answering this kind of filth?

You know what, some of these people make me laugh. They claim that muslims allow beheading and stoning and they are not even muslims. So how the hell should they know? I am a muslim so listen to what i am saying because i know much more than these people who say that muslims still allow beheading. that is a load of crap. Muslims belive that none has the right to harm or take the life of another being. so why would we allow beheading and stoning? the truth is....WE DONT!

OK. We get your point. However, 99.99999% of Muslims do not stone or behead anyone, so I guess the answer is that Muslims also do not believe in such behavior. If you want to ask why the great majority do not stop the tiny minority, my guess is that fear and resources are at root. That is also why most all of those Christians and Jews are not stopping the stoners and beheaders. I would encourage you to focus far more on the behaviors of people and less on their professessed beliefs. This is especially the case because those who are doing the stoning and beheading are very, very, very bad examples of what Islam (Peace) is all about. Cheers

The phrase stoning people to death or death by stoning is never mentioned in the Quran as a punishment. As for beheading people like to point out Muhammad 47:4 Therefore when you meet the unbelievers IN THE BATTLEFIELD smite thier necks, until you thouroughly subdued them, then take prisoners of was and bind them firmly.
This seems to be talking about times of war.
Or how about Al Baqarah:2 people love to quote this one out of context as well...Kill them wherever they confront you in combat and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you. they also forget to add the first and last part of this verse here it is in full...
Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight against you, but do not exceed the limits. Allah does not like transgressors. Kill them wherever they confront you in combat and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you. Though killing is bad, creating mischief is worse then killing. Do not fight them within the precincts of the Al-Masjid-al-Haram unless they attack you there; but if they attack you, put them to the sword; that is the punishment for such unbelievers. It saddens me with the current state of current events, and I speak out against terrorism, not Islam, I know right now most people find them synonymous with each other, but I am hoping that Muslims can unite together(No more Sunni of Shiite, just Muslims) during this time under the Quran, and stop choosing culture over religion, because most of the victims are Muslims. Maybe by our example will Christians, Atheists, Jews, etc, will see Islam as the peaceful religion that we so adamently claim it to be and that it is.

Don't kid yourself that that wasn't the same behavior of the other belief systems you mention in the past. It's done more regionally now instead of due to religious regions.
Those regions are also that total male controlled ones. Are you catching on yet?

I'm a muslim and I don't think its okay to stone people or behead people. It is also NEVER mentioned in the Quran as a form of punishment for any crime. Any other questions just email me - if you want to get this type of question answered, you best ask a muslim because theres always more than one side to a story

...radical Muslims don't think... "they" follow the mindless "rants" of a false prophet who could not read or write and thought a "meteor" falling from the sky was something holy... "they" have skewed Gods Word to fit the "rants" of Mohammad not accepting the Word of God which clearly says that the Promise of God was given to Abraham, not Ishmael... "they" are an angry, outcast clan of "moon" worshipers who believe that anyone not beholding to the "rants" of Mohammad is in infidel and must be killed. In the "99" excellent names for "Allah"...not one of them calls him a loving father...not one. The God of Abraham clearly refers to God as a loving Father, many, many time...not only in the Tanakh (Old Testament) but the B'ritHadashah (New Testament) as well... go figure.

Which Muslims?
Just like Xianity, Islam has significant variation. There are still plenty of Xians around who would happily burn people at the stake if our SECULAR laws didn't punish them for doing it.
