I was bored, so instead of sitting around this room and answering the same questions over and over again I thought it might be fun to go to a local ward and say hi to a few friends.. I got there and they were all gone! Was there a Mormon rapture? Or a general conference? I was going to go to a Methodist church, but their service does not start till 11:00am. I thought about a JW service, but have no clue where they are located.. Perhaps hang out with a few Muslims, but I have no clue where they are either. So I am stuck with you guys..

This is the second time this has happened, I think there is a Mormon conspiracy going on.. hmmm

The LDS General Conference is held every six months and members go to the nearest "LDS Stake Center" (a building where several local congregations all meet together on occasion) for the conference. They should be back in their normal building next week.

Utah. The JW's have some services during the day, some in the evening (they should have been knocking on your door yesterday) . Catholics & Lutherns should be out of church soon. The Dali Llama is in the US, so the Buddists are busy. Not sure about the Muslims. Is it still Rammedon? Baptists can be in church all day depending on their denomination. Hope this helps. (I'm agnostic. I'm here for now. Going to a jazz brunch soon.)

We have General Conference this weekend. Most of us probably gather in our Stake Centers, while those in Utah or Idaho have the luxury of just turn on the TV and watch the conference at home.

We have the 10 am Sunday session coming up in half an hour, so see ya.

It is general conference this weekend. For those in a lot of states can watch conference on our tvs. Some other people have to go to the stake centers to watch. Not sure about any other religion though.

This past weekend was the World Wide general Conference.

It was broadcast over local and satellite TV in many countries and many languages. They were probably at home in their PJ's watching it.

They do this twice a year, once in April and again in October.

Sometimes is there's a small branch and a larger ward nearby they join the branch with the stake! your old ward could have just joined up with a bigger one. But if you dont know then just call one of your old friends and check it out.

All of the Mormons are attending an Osmond Family concert in Utah. John Travolta and his Scientology cult members are doing the valet parking. As far as the Muslims go, they don't want anything to do with you.... So now, we're stuck with you, too.
