Religious "believers" who are vain, proud and arrogant are not believers at all. The Bible speaks against all of these horrible traits. All other major world religions do the same.
The truth of falsehood of a religion has nothing to do with how people do or do not act that don't believe in it (atheism.) The truth of a religion does not have anything to do with those who claim to follow it. People are flawed and claim to believe things they fail to act on. This does not prove the religion wrong, but it does show the people don't really believe it.
For example, over 80% of Americans claim to be Christians. However, the real number is much closer to 20%. Most of those who claim it not only don't follow it, but don't take enough time to know what it means to follow it.

People will be people, whether they're Christians, Islamic, agnostic, or atheist. There are arrogant Christians and arrogant atheists. Human nature is to defend w/ your dying breath that which you believe in, and some Christians just go about it the wrong way.
I think a better way is to simply tell the truth, the Gospel, and let the Holy Spirit convince you that what I say is real. When we tell people about Jesus it seems counterproductive to argue, since Christ-like behavior definitely isn't associated with being argumentative and surly. You believe what you believe and I believe what I believe and its my job to make sure that you know the truth. Convincing you that its real is God's job.

perchance you're taking the insult out of context. when I say somebody is being boastful - this is because of the fact they are being boastful. Your rant above isn't boastful - it incredibly is offended and infantile. in case you have been to relax down and stay away from call calling, your ideals may well be taken much less as insurrection and greater as considerate and deductive. EDIT - You have been of course pissed once you all started this question, so i'm not extraordinarily bowled over you're pissed 'now.' No - i don't understand you - and that i've got not generalized you in any way. All of my comments have been based on your verbal replace in this single question. You however desire to call many people you do not understand stupid and thick headed. you additionally attempt to communicate for different atheists. As I stated, perchance whilst people call you boastful, this is considering the fact which you're being boastful (calm or not) - particularly than due on your disbelief.

Not all religious believers are arrogant as others might think. Not all atheists are arrogant too. So, its just a matter of respecting how other people think and view things. We cannot force anybody to believe what we do.. but it's just normal instinct for religious believers to DEFEND their faith, when their faith is criticized, or when their God is criticized. Atheists have no faith, so they have nothing to worry about coz they have no faith to defend. =)

We don't have the answers. Only our Father has them, and talk about evidence. Prove to me that the Big Bang theory is true. That's all I hear from atheists. That there is evidence of the Big Bang theory. When actuality it falls short of any Truth.

Look who is accusing who. We are humble servants of God . We must speak truth in obediece to our Lord's commandments. OK so let me live up to your accusation and say this. Arrogant? Proud? Vain? No sir , we are not . The ultimate in arrogance is denying that your Creator exists. You are saying proudly, vainly and arrogantly " I dont need you God. I can make it without you God. " Now that is arrogance!
I humbly beg you sir to come to Christ. Please come to Christ.
Oh how my heart grieves for your soul sir. Every day thousands of souls slip into eternity without God, without the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It is a terrible tragedy . Come to Christ sir. Accept the free gift of love and salvation ... Oh come to Christ.

I do NOT claim to "have all the answers." I am neither vain nor proud, and I have never accused atheists of being any of those things.
Why are you generalizing? You are incorrect. We are not all vain, proud, or arrogant.
Why do you hate us all?
