on average, large breeds mature at 3 years of age and small breeds at 2 years of age. As for actual growth in height, this is tricky. Generally most dogs grow somewhat regularly but at the same time depending on the breed, some will go through growth spurts as opposed to gradual growth. I have had pups reach full size at 6 months and others continue growing until 18 to 24 months. There is no real set rule though many breeds do have charts that can provide estimated size at different ages.

I think it depends on the overall size of the dog (e.g. small, medium and large). Most big dogs reach their full height between 18 months and 2 years. I think smaller dogs reach full height a lot sooner.
My dalmatian is coming up 2 years old and seemed to have stopped getting taller at around 18 months old.
