You could try dying it. However, the color of the dye can vary if there is more than one fabric type in the canopy itself. If your talking about the kind that goes over the bed, shouldn't be a problem. However, if you are talking about an exterior one, I wouldn't recommend it, because it has a plasticy coating to keep the water out and wont take the dye. I had a friend who tried to paint hers, but it only cracked and peeled.

If the canopy is an outdoor canvas one, you could try spraying it with dye or paint. Several light coats would probably work better than brushing on a thick one. If it is plastic, I doubt you will have good luck.

Be sure to mask off surrounding areas before you start spraying paint.
