People will always call you names when there's no argument

Because they don't have a logical response to our wanting the illegals out of our country.

We say we don't want the illegals to receive government aid, then they claim that illegals don't get aid. My question is that if they don't get federal aid, why would they raise such a fuss about the passage of laws barring them from it?

Many times arguments have been raised in favor of illegals which have been countered with logical reasonings again and again. Finally they turn to race, as a last ditch effort, but in doing so they themselves become the racists. By using the false claims that only whites are anti-illegal and by implying that we believe all the illegals to be Hispanics who have jumped the border.

Contrary to these claims Americans of all walks of life and of all colors have spoken out against the illegals. Even the legal immigrants have spoken out against the illegals who they feel are making them look bad and who have "cut in line" while they followed the rules.

The laws that have been passed to make things more difficult for illegals don't see what color you are. The laws don't care if you are an illegal from Mexico who crossed the desert or if you are an illegal from France who came here as a tourist and never left. What these laws do is force the verification of documents, how can that be racist?

Securing the border doesn't target legal immigrants, checking paperwork doesn't target legal immigrants, and finally ICE doesn't target legal immigrants. None of these measures have anything to do with anyones race, age, religion or gender, it all comes to security and law.

Well it depends what your definition is of "illegal". If the answer to this question is "anyone who has brown skin or remotely looks like they would be from mexico" then not surprised that you are called racist. Also if you use any form or racial slur such as beaner and etc etc, then yes you are a racist. Oh yeah and you your idea of fun is going out on the weekends in your pickup truck with your buddies all dressed in white robes with matching hoods then yes you are a racist. Its all about how you present yourself and how others see you. If you know your not one then don't let what others think of you affect you.

Because that is a very simple way of diminishing you, your opinions, and your questions. It labels you as a bad person and therefore, you question is not worthy of response.
Apparently the view of those who label you racist is that regardless of law violations, illegals are ENTITLED to the Benefits and Rights of American Citizens. However, don't go to their country illegally (regardless of what country) and try to obtain rights or privileges there! Their countries recognize that if you are there illegally, you have no rights under their laws and should be deported immediately.

Because that is the catch all phrase used by those who have no other way to defend the actions of the illegals. They know that the illegal, criminal invaders do not belong here and they can not defend that argument based on fact, so they resort to name calling. They feel the fear of being labeled a "racist" will keep people from speaking out. After all, who wants to be tagged a racist?
Its like getting into an argument with someone who can not prove their point rationally, so they call you fat or ugly. You have to realize they are doing that because they can not defend their position.
I mean how can you defend illegal invaders? The law says you must come here a certain way. The law is color blind and applies to everyone. They chose to break it. End of story. The pro illegal group wants to bring race, sympathy and every other excuse into the argument. The only fact is the law was broken. That makes them criminals. Every thing that happens after their little feet crossed the border is their problem. Getting deported but kids are US citizens.... YOUR PROBLEM! Can't get healthcare and you are sick?..... YOUR PROBLEM.
We don't feel sorry for rapists who can't see their kids. We don't feel sorry for murderers who can't be with their families.
Why is this group of criminals any different?

Are you sure you don't lump ALL immigrants (legal and illegal) in the same group? If you do that I'd say you're a bigot.

If you *only* have something against illegal aliens then that is another story. Maybe it's the language you use. Idk, I haven't spoken with you nor have I seen your postings.

EDIT: Aunt Doobie seems to be doing what I said in the first part of my answer. She says, They (illegal aliens) should not come here if they cannot support themselves. Then that would me she has no problem with Illegal aliens that CAN support themselves (i.e. terrorists etc). If you are against illegal aliens then you are against them all together. If you see immigrants (legal) getting aid you cannot say they shouldn't come here if they cannot support themsevles because they are here LEGALLY (and generally they aren't allowed to get aid of any kind for at least the first 3 years) and there is no way of knowing if they will be able to support themselves or not. (The gov. already looks at this before giving them a visa anyway.) They could be here legally, hard-working, and get injured on the job or in a car accident and become disabled. Does this mean they should not get aid?

Let it roll off your back. Its a weak argument. Myself, I don't see color, I see laws. There are illegal aliens of all races, many nationalities. People like to throw the word racist out there to incite people, just ignore it.

If that's the case then I'm a racist too. There are Americans that have worked and paid into the system and can't get benefits when they need them. I think it so wrong to give it to people that has never paid into the system. They shouldn't come here if they can't support themselves.

It does seem the party crashers not only want to come uninvited and they have their cake and yours and mine as well. Then to add insult to injury they us call racist because we object when we have to pay for the party

LOL
why do all "U.S CITIZENS" think that an immigrant can just come up into the U.S and ask for any kind of gov. help, and that they'll just get this help they are asking for. (whether they really need it or not) IF YOU ARE ILLEGAL (MEANING NO PAPERS) YOU CANNOT GET HELP. NO MEDICAID, NO FOODSTAMPS, NO NOTHING. they can get medical insurance, and they would pay for that themselves. there are so so many illegals here, believe it or not, that pay their darn taxes, and the money taken away from them goes where? TO HELP MEDICAID AND GOV HELP TO THOSE WHO ARE FROM HERE. get your facts straight!
