Mario Batali. I love to watch him on TV, especially the segments he tapes in Italy and his competition on Iron Chef: America. His food looks awesome, and he really knows his stuff. I've met him a few times and he seems like a pretty cool dude. Plus, he's overweight, which makes me feel a little better about having a few extra lbs. myself. Some chefs are too dang skinny and I have no idea how they do it!
And he wears orange crocs all the time and doesn't care. That's confidence.

Rick Stein is the only one who can cook real italian food I know because I am italian. The others when they said This is an italian dish I never heard about before or They changed the original recipe. But Rick is great he went to Italy and he learnt a lot about good italian food.

Rachael Ray. She's a little too perky for me, but I'm right there with her in not being patient enough to want to wait more than 30 minutes for a meal. Heck, I've found some 5 minute dinners and have started in on my on recipe box!

For me it's definitely, Jamie Oliver. His style of cooking is simple but hugely impressive. Plus he has a really great personality, and a genuine desire to do good for the under privileged.

I like Chef Ramsey, except for his potty mouth, however he is incredibly entertaining even though most of the time you don't get to see him cooking, just yelling at everyone else. I guess that's the fun I get out of it. Thinking about it I guess its crazy to say he's my favorite, but he is.
