how do i delete programs like search tool bars(im not talking about going to documents and deleting things)?

Generally, you can remove these by going to the control panel, and using "add/remove programs".

You can also check to see if there is a folder listed in your "programs" menu from the start button, which may have an "uninstall" option.

You can either go to "Add/Remove Programs" in the control panel or go to c:\programs\xxx and remove the program there. Be careful though not to remove essential files.
