why not. being gay does not mean he is participating in a gay lifestyle so he is doing nothing against the vows he took.

i think yes i think it should be all out in the open here in ireland the church covered up a lot of s**t that was goin on
4 years they were like a law unto their own and they wonder why people dont go 2 mass anymore

well that brings it back to the question that if the catholic church accepts gay or lesbian men and women. traditionally I don't think the church acceptes them but that should be changed, it is a new time, a new age of democracy and acceptance.

Gays shouldn't be allowed to be priests...it's antithetical to church doctrine.
They should start up a gay church and THEN do whatever they want.
