It was 3 days ago my cat started acting listless, hiding, not eating or drinking, I have given her droplets of water and offered her variety of things she just throws it up instantly, she doesn't seem to be sleeping either she just sits down and stays very still eyes strained to be opened. She is not cleaning herself, I don't see anything in her mouth but she struggles and I am afraid of hurting her if there is something in her throat. I live 50 miles from anything, I'm very attached and unfortunately very broke-financially and physically, please help..

I can understand that you are limited in your resources (both) however you have not said how old your cat is. If she is an older cat then it sounds like she has 1 of 2 problems. She either has something stuck in her eating tract (not just the throat) or unfortunately which is more likely it is her time. Just make sure that she knows that you are there with her. Remember the joy she has brought into your life and return it to her in her time to leave. Remember the "Rainbow Bridge" as you know you will see her later.

How old is your cat? She sounds like she has started stages of renal failure which can be fatal and expensive but some pull out just fine. Take her to a vet immediately. Any vet will work with you on the bill, some may waive the bill altogether and just help the cat pro bono. The vet I work for is a scrooge but even he has done work for free just for the cat's sake. Never worry about money when it comes to the health of your pet, 99.9% of vets will just bill you later if money is a problem. .01% will help for the sake of helping and not charge you if you have a good sob story or on a fixed budget.

If you love your cat as much as you say you do then you will find a way to take her to a vet. Most vets will work with you financially.
50 miles is not a long distance, not when it comes to being a responsible and loving pet owner.
Get that cat to a vet now, ASAP and good luck to both of you.

Well, it's a very sad situation, you have to get to a vet, it could be a hairball which wont kill her but it could also be a paralysis tick which can and will kill her if left treated to long, it could also be a snake bite, get her too the vet, pawn something, get a small loan, she needs medical attention.
If you cant do that then the caring, humane and best thing to do is surrender her to the SPCA to receive treatment.

These are not very encouraging symptoms in your animal. Unfortunately, the outlook is grim unless you take your cat to a veterinarian so that it can receive proper care. If you cannot afford proper care, it might be appropriate to consider euthanasia if your cat's condition worsens so that she does not suffer needlessly as an inevitable death approaches.
I'm sorry to hear this about your cat. Best wishes.

Dying? Perhaps. But she's exhibiting all the signs of serious illness. She needs a vet, if for no other reason that to help her die peacefully. If you don't have the money now, ask about a payment plant.

Take the food you have been feeding her and go to the vet. You might want to call and see if there is a "visiting" vet in your area if you are not close to town. A lot of pet foods have been recalled due to poison (melamine) mixed into the wheat gluten that was imported from China. It is killing pets.

Hiding is a sign of the cat knowing it is their time. Not drinking will cause severe dehydration. It sounds like she is very sick and most vets require payment immediately. I don't know what to tell you. I'm very, very sorry, it is a hard thing to go through.

Vets will do a payment paln with you to help you with expenses. Also you need to get the cat to the vet asap. This cat needs to be checked out to make sure that he/she is doing okay. Maybe it is the beautiful creatures time but make sure of it before you get yourself upset. Good luck with that honey!

She might have a big hairball in her throat. If you could get someone to bring you some cat hairball remedy it might help. However, what she really needs is a visit to the vet. I hope it isn't too late already.
