For all your scaremongering. 1. Jesus is not God nor will he be returning to the earth plane ever. 2. Man cannot not destroy the earth as there are higher forces at work.
Edit- God will meet us in the clouds?!? lmao! And you people aren't even on drugs. lol

No.
The world was around long before humans were on it, and it will be around for much longer.
Every major religion (except maybe Buddhism) has it's own version of the end times, the Christians have it, the Jews have it, the Muslims have it, etc. In each religion only that religion is "saved". Each religion believes the other religions are not the "chosen" people, etc..
Humans are not robots, people will always have different religious and philisophoical beliefs. It is unlikely that every person on earth will believe in the same religion. That would probably be impossible.
The Bible says the Jews will move to the Middle East and there will be wars, or rumours of wars in the end times. The reason the Jews moved to the Middle East is because they believed their holy book told them to move there. And there have always been wars, or rumours of wars, here and there throughout human history.
Some Christian fundamentalists believe America doesn't even have to compete with China, Japan, India or other non-Christian countries, because it is the end times and those non-Christian countries and people will get destroyed by God. That is unlikely that all non-Christians will be destroyed. America and other Christian majority countries will have to compete, and do business with, non-Christians as well as Christians.

Is it true that the number of atheists is growing? This sounds a bit like cold-war fear mongering to me.
The funny thing is, we're nothing to be afraid of. Some atheists get bitter or cynical because of the rejection they feel from society, but who wouldn't if their family and friends told them they were going to hell? Most of us though, just live normal, happy, unconflicted lives, and try just as hard as the next guy to be a good person.
If the number of atheists IS growing, it probably is a sign that there's less suppression going on at the local level. I'm glad that more religious people have started practicing the acceptance and good will that they preach.
Best wishes all.

What are you talking about? No there is no rapture, doesn't even exist within the bible and the bible is allegorical my friend, it's an allegory of immense importances towards spiritual and mental development in the search to enter the inner kingdom. It's all about the mind.
"Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21 NKJ). There is no second coming, besides what you manifest in pattern within your own mind.

And just look at the most powerful country in the world, with its lunatic, Evangelical Christian president with his belief that God talks to him and is on his side. He also believes in an apocalyptic war between good and evil, and he has access to nuclear weapons, even though he can't pronounce the word "nuclear." The end times may be near, but not because of the atheists. Secularism is the only path to salvation.

That's very cute. Here's a cookie for believing silly nonsense. Anyway...I'd be willing to bet there were just as many atheists in the past as there are now - its just in this society we can openly state that we don't believe in gods without being murdered by the local religious authorities - though in some countries this still happens. An increase in availbility of knowledge does a nice job closing all those pesky gaps you keep seeing god in.

No I think it's a sign that religion has pushed more and more people away with it's self righteous attitude and hell-fire and brimstone talk. It's sad to say, but true that in today's world religion almost has a worse name than atheism. Not to mention that science is explaining more and more mysteries all the time.

Your questions are increasingly and obsessively anti-atheist.
Aren't you the one who claimed that science 'goes too far against God' by claiming that the universe is expanding?
A brief look at your questions on your profile is very telling. It reminds me of the Aryan race-obsessives whose every second question is about Jews or Blacks, except your bigotry is all directed at people who don't follow your religion.
You are a terrible example to your own religion in that respect, how you ever hope to convert people is beyond me.
The British National Party didn't convert or recruit many dark-skinned folk either...

We're all going to die, whoaaa. Do u think in ur close minded brain that the Ever-loving Creator we all believe in, watever u want to call the Creating Force, would let u rot in hell? Even if u die, ur pretty much guaranteed and spot in the ever flowing energy that makes and shapes us all.
