Yes, a policeman in my very small hometown (which I have thankfully moved FAR away from) told my parents that I had been arrested for drink-driving and that he had seen me having sex with 2 guys at one time. Neither of these stories were true, or had even a grain of truth in them. I will never, ever know why he said these things. I don't know him well and he is not an officer anymore but it almost ruined my relationship with my parents.
Being wrongly accused is the most horrible feeling I have ever experienced.

Yes - at work. My colleagues accused me of doing something when I was a chalet host for a ski company. It was a horrible situation as the 10 of them including the manager wouldn't speak to me so I was very isolated living so far from home - it made me very unhappy. However I just carried on working in spite of them and in the end they realised that I had been telling the truth - and one of the team was guilty. It was a very long 4 months away from home I can tell you. In these situations you just have to be strong as you are the only one who knows the truth!

Frequently over the years; by parents, teachers, boyfriends, girlfriends, an ex husband etc etc. Either I'm very misunderstood and picked on or I've got a terrible memory! Strangely enough the only people I've ever been not accused by are the coppers - but that's because they like me or I'm very very lucky.

All the time. But my motto is, if you ain't got pictures or a full beat down confession then all I'll say is," He did it". Look you're right the truth always comes to the light. I'm on your side.

Yes, and I hate it because people are just assuming the worst and then it gets blown out of proportion, and I also hate it when other people do it. It's basically lying, and lying goes hand in hand with cheating.

Don't trust CCTV either. Police/jury etc make of it what they will. Arm yourself.

So many times that I have conditioned myself to just take the blame for things I did not do.
