I think as long as we're teaching the pseudoscience of Intelligent Design in a science class we should also teach alchemy and astrology as well. Who's with me?

How certain are we that water can't be turned into gold?

Are atheists now saying that real science is false because we say that theirs is false. Look Christians, they say Chemistry must go. I guess they reject anything that is true.

It could be a good idea to have *some* schools were only the current most abberative pseudoscience is thaught.

I think it might help the little children to use their creativity and maybe some of these children will one day come up with something that is real usefull and couldnt be invented by a someone with regular education.

Of course. A list of notable theories are listed on the attached link. We probably need "Intelligent" alternatives for most of them. After all, they are all "just theories". Can we start with Intelligent Falling as an alternative to the Theory of Gravitation?

why not. the education system in the US is a joke anyway and gets worse every year. The more money they "throw" at it, the worse it gets. Your legislator can probably write a law requiring states to teach it. While you're at it, why not get a law that says the students can create their own curriculum and graduate when they want.

Great question, good point, after all, how do we know that everything is made up of tiny little electrons that are just energy. Just because there's such thing as an electron microscope doesnt mean that satan didn't invent it to turn our faith from God. Oh that Satan and those dinosaur bones, he's a clever little devil!
This is why you arent allowed to ask questions like this in science classes at a Catholic High School.

well if we are going to be stupid with our children then - yes - lets teach astrology as equal to astronomy - one advantage - the child will be able to get a job in a newspaper

It's not water, silly...only other metals. Any good alchemist will tell you that.

we should not be teaching any sort of psuedoscience : it is complete madness. But you make a good point.
