They included Bush as being an Endtimer.. seems lots of these Christians don't care what happens on earth as they are all convinced the "rapture" is here (almost here?)
Is this not a little scary? Or strange.. your thoughts please.

Edit: The "scary part" I was referring to people believing in this rapture issue and thier actions due to this belief.

Hmm. Endtimers are also a small cult group in the town where I grew up.

I think you are speaking of, well, most Christians, who believe that we are in the end times as interpreted from the Bible book of Revelations.

Some of them don't care about the planet because of this, yes. And yes, it is scary.

Christians do care about what happens here , because Christ came to earth so that we could have abundant life. But we humans do things our way and this is the basis for all the turmoil, cruelty, violence and depression. God values freedom so much that He gave us free wills and that means we have the choice to do as we want , even disbelieve in the Creator. He will not go against your will.
As for this being the time of the end, it may be coming to the end of time as we know it. In the study of eschatology it seems to point to a soon end to this earth and the emergence of a new fresh earth as was intended when it came into being. If President Bush is a christian then I think he does believe that this world and it's worsening conditions can not keep going much longer or we will end up destroying this planet and mankind altogether. And God will not allow that. He will have the final word on what becomes of everything in existance.

This is a never ending concern of some people throughout history. The end is near. Some Christians thought this in the first and second century.

Many of these documentaries are bogus stories created for dollars

It is all coming to an end..and as the poster above says, the next Pope (by Catholic prophecy) is supposed to be the last Pope.
It is only scary if you are not a Christian. It is also common sense that the world can not continue as it is. Everything has an end and ours is close.

Towards end times, as stated in the bible, things are coming true. God is going to bring back the original Babylon. God is in control of everything.
