Puhleeze - the Jesus story isn't even original. Can't Christians invent a savior god without STEALING everything about him from other, earlier religions?

Ok why cant you accept Harry potter is real, and fairs and leprechans exist and have aprties in your back garden and there are really Vampire Slayers going around protecting us from demons.
Ie its all bullshit.
You study that time and it was common for people to be considered gods if some big leader like certain roman leaders.
Likewise a few magic tricks (ie illusion) or conveinient things like eclipeses and the superstitious idots would swallow anything

Take a look at the question I just asked, I do not believe in a historical jesus. Even if a local rabbi did live and died on a cross as a criminal, I do not see this as being historical and that would not really be the jesus of the bible.
