I've always been an extremely jealous person, that is until I met my husband. The more you trust someone, the less jealousy is involved. No, people can't help being jealous. It stems from insecurity and all of us has something that we're insecure about.

No I don't agree. If you honestly can't trust the person you're with, he or she isn't worth it. If you're happy together, then why wreck it with jealousy. The worst possible thing that can happen is that they will actually cheat on you. So deal with that if it actually happens, but maybe it won't. Meanwhile, be happy with the here and now and concentrate on all the good things about your relationship- all the good reasons why you're with that person.

My opinion is that jealousy is a wasted emotion; it won't change the behavior of the other person and it doesn't make you feel any better...it's just a waste of time. A better way to spend your time is to establish why you feel any reaction to another person's behavior when it doesn't involve you, really. If you enjoy the time spent with the person while you're together, why would you care what they do when you're not around? To me it's just a lack of trust, which is another name for 'insecurity'...

Jealousy is often a sign of underlying insecurity. If you find out for sure your SO is somehow betraying the trust you've put in them, you have to act to get to the bottom of it. Otherwise, be confident and develop a long fuse.

first you have to find out what causes jealousy? if its reasonable enough then i think its ok but if you get jealous out of nothing then its bad.

jesus said all things in moderation. a little jealousy is a good thing as your partner sees it as you standing up for them. a little goes a long way. but too much jealousy gets you in trouble, and dumped.

Jealousy is a huge waste of energy......it's so selfish. You need to let go of the desire to own someone other than yourself.
