Worcestershire Sauce is a mixture of anchovies and other stuff. Nothing tastes like it, and when it is called for in a recipe there isn't anything that can replace it.
It can always be found near the mustard/ketchup salad dressings and other condiments. Ask at any grocery store! (Probably available on the food isle at the drug superstore too!)

You'll find it in the supermarket. Usually, it is on the same shelf as steak sauces and marinades, cooking wines, etc.

What it is, is a mixture of spices, soy sauce and anchovies. It is allowed to ferment for some period of time before it is bottled.

One of the best uses for Worcestershire is on pork chops. The flavors really compliment each other. But this sauce really works as a good layer of flavor in lots of dishes.

Hope this helps you. Good Luck!

Worcestershire Sauce is a traditional English condiment and can be used to enhance the flavour of casseroles, bolognaise sauce, stir fries and marinades. It's also delicious on eggs in the morning. As it contains anchovies, it's quite salty.
You can find it in the condiments section of your supermarket.

Worcestershire is a blend of vinegar, garlic, anchovies and many other spices in liquid form that enhance the flavor of your food. You can usually find it in the aisle of your supermarket where the salad dressings and condiments (like mustard and ketchup) are displayed.

I think its like this seasoning thing...kinda like tomato sauce, except you put it in the food before you cook it and not after. You can pretty much find 'Wosta' sauce anywhere, any supermarket will have it, you might even find it at the corner store!!!
