There really isn't anything to eat at home... so we usually order take-out. Sometimes I'll have a meatball sub, grilled chicken caesar salad, cheese burger with fries, pizza. That is usually twice a week. The other days, my mother cooks diner. She usually makes rice, meat, and some type of vegetable. Anywho, I have this habit of eating once a day because I'm scared of gaining weight again. If my mother is going to be cooking, then I may eat twice a day. If I eat something unhealthy, I only eat once. Is this unhealthy?

So, you wanna become an anorexic? Wise up! There is plenty of food in your home, substantial food. All take out does is drain your wallet and poses a health risk. Take a course in home economics.

Studies show that people who don't eat breakfast tend to be fatter than those who do. If you spread out your meals into six portions a day, you're less likely to gain weight because your blood sugar is at an even level. If you stick to vegetables and grains, plus some protein and a little fat, like two teaspoons a day, you're not going to gain weight. If you eat unhealthy food, you will have more fat than muscle, and even if the scale has a good number, you won't look good because you will be flabby. Also, your skin will look bad, dry and ashy. So, you need to learn how to eat healthy and also get some exercise, like walking, or you'll look bad no matter what you eat. Try www.weightwatchers.com for more information.

Yes, it's really bad for your blood sugar level as well as your stomach. People who skip meals tend to eat more in the end by eating snacks later on or a bigger dinner.

Some better ideas: eat healthier take out (yes, that does exist) learn to cook some simple meals, or buy some healthy foods you can eat at home like healthy tv dinners, salad mix and precooked chicken, stuff for sandwiches etc...

You usually eat unhealthy food and wonder if it's bad for you?

Why do you think it's called "unhealthy" food?

The thing that matters is WHAT you eat and how MUCH of it you eat.

Eating 3 healthy meals a day is MUCH better for controlling weight than eating one unhealthy meal a day.

I'm not surprised you feel sick if you eat that junk more than once a day.

yes
you need more than 1 meal a day
does your mom lock up the rice and veggies when she is not home?
maybe you should jimmy the lock, learn to boil water and make some food for yourself.
It will be handy to know how to cook in case you don't want to live with your mom your whole life.
Oh yah, and eat some breakfast, it really is important.
