Indeed We have revealed to you the Book with the truth; so worship God, devoting your religion purely to Him.

[39:3]
Surely to God belongs pure religion. And those who take besides Him patrons, [say]: ‘We only worship them so that they may bring us near to God’. God will indeed judge between them concerning that about which they differ. Truly God does not guide one who is a liar, a disbeliever.

[39:4]
Had God wanted to take a son, He could have chosen from what He has created whatever He wished. Glory be to Him. He is God, the One, the All-Compelling.

[39:5]
He created the heavens and the earth with the truth. He turns the night into day, and turns the day into night, and He has disposed the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term. Verily it is He Who is the Mighty, the [ever] Forgiving.

For M. Matt

A it's scientifically proved that all planets don't only have orbits but they're moving very fast due to the expansion of the universe for an appointed term is when the universe will come to an end (that would be the judgment day) now if you're a wise man you'd know that an illiterate simple man like prophet Mohammed (PBUH) would never be able to know such information 14 century ago but it's indeed because the Qoran is a divine book.

Concerning your question yesterday I asked the same thing to a Christian friend she couldn't answer and I asked her why would God need a son to kill in a horrible way to forgive your sins? and what's that sin? your first Grand fathers sin? what does that have to do with you? and why didn't previous prophets like Abraham (PBUH) know about this son? and why they didn't know about the trinity? are they going to hell because they didn't believe in that? She couldn't answer too. She just said that she's not really convinced with everything and shs'e not sure. I told her that she needs to be sure because in the hereafter there will be no "U" turns.

Salam

I didnt know the sun and moon had an appointed time. I thought they were continuously in motion along with the earth, and we can only see them at the times they appear on our side of the planet. With that said. Why does Mohammad have to attack Christianity in his book? It is like he is threatened by the truth.

You quote many scriptures from the Koran. Does that mean that you do not believe the Bible?

The Bible shows that Adam was "son of God"
Angels are "sons of God"
Christ was firstborn son of God.

And Psalm 2 is not about David -- pay attention that its prophecies all are about Christ Jesus.

There was only one God and Jesus was God manifest in the flesh. God is much more alien to us than we realize. Yet we have much in common.

God is one, the sole Creator of this world. He doesnt have a father/mother, neither does he have any son/daughter.

Gods son Jesus is actually an extension of Himself. We can all become children of God by accepting Jesus as our personal savior.
