Amnesty plain and simple. Thanks to talk radio and the Internet it will never pass because the corrupt bastards know we are watching.
Why do you think that they are clamoring for the "Fairness Doctrine"? Petty dictators do not like the unwashed masses looking over their shoulder.
I believe the sentiment is more popular in the Democratic party but I believe it was Trent Lott who opined that "we have to face facts talk radio is running the country"

Iit is a free-rider on a war act and I do not know if it has passed or not. They are tacking it on and basically trying to get it passed under the cover of night. It pisses me off because the kids of illegals can go to college anywhere in the US and not have to pay out of state tuition, where I. A US CITIZEN< NATURAL BORN, has to pay out of state tuition if I cross the state line. I have a website you can read about it on, but if I put it on here I will get "reported"..Email me and Ill give you the site.

It has waivers that would legalize those applying for 'humanitarian' or 'family unity' reasons including those (and their families who brought them illegally) who would FAIL the moral character and lack of criminal / gang background requirements or other excludability requirements. It would let 30 year olds stay and applies to many more than they pretend.
They need to limit it to the intent they are billing it for, or address the impacts on our schools and services, because this will increase those dramatically. The waivers are unsupportable, altogether.

Turbin Durbin and the other illiberal Democrats in congress recently tried to attach it as an ammendment to a bigger bill. They failed to get enough votes, thank god.

Depends on who you ask they will say if its good deal or not. To me its a good deal but people anti-immigration feel it is not. They say they are going to put in on the floor this month. I don't know what will happen or if it will pass or not but I still want it to go on the floor that way we know what is going to happen.
